An array of new collateral for Kingspan

Impact Sign Solutions Kingspan Logo 2

We’ve proudly worked with Kingspan Water & Energy Ltd since 2004. Kingspan is a global leader in sustainable, innovative solutions, with a mission to preserve and protect water and energy sources for future generations. Our collaboration is specifically with the team based at their Aston Clinton / Aylesbury site.

We were excited to support their latest rebranding project—bringing colour, imagery, and fresh energy into their workspace.

The Brief

Kingspan asked us to deliver a comprehensive rebrand across both internal and external materials. This included vehicle graphics, stickers, engraved plaques, site signage, wayfinding systems, merchandise, and more.

Externally, they wanted a modernised and unified look. Internally, their goal was to create a more vibrant and engaging environment for staff and visitors alike.

What we did to help

To kick things off, we met with the Kingspan team on-site to review the brief in detail. Together, we explored the spaces to be transformed and examined what would be replaced or introduced.

Next, we took precise measurements and discussed colour schemes, materials, and design options. By collaborating closely, we ensured every element aligned with Kingspan’s brand identity and vision.

We then designed, manufactured, and installed a full range of solutions, including:

  • An eye-catching external fascia with built up lettering
  • A stunning internal sign made of acrylic lettering for the reception area
  • Bespoke branded wallpaper
  • Wall art using a variety of material including fabric tension, acrylic panels and wall vinyls
  • Triangular acrylic and vinyl wayfinders
  • Merchandise including branded mugs and business cards
  • Bespoke artwork for the company vending machine
  • A vehicle wrap for a lorry
  • Branded blinds
  • One-way vision vinyl window graphics

It was a big job, but we did it! We are extremely pleased with the outcome.

The signs look great! Everyone was really pleased with the results Thanks Andy, you’re a star!

Plaques with Stardust

Impact Signs David Bowie Wall Mount

In 2018, a bronze statue of David Bowie was unveiled in Aylesbury’s Market Square. Titled Earthly Messenger, the sculpture features Bowie as he appeared in 2002, surrounded by several of his famous alter egos, including Ziggy Stardust.

This statue was installed not only to honour Bowie’s global impact but also to celebrate his special connection to Aylesbury. After all, he first performed as Ziggy Stardust and debuted two of his albums at the iconic Friars Club in the 1970s.

Have you seen the statue?

The Brief

After our successful collaboration on the 2014 Friars Club exhibition, David Stopps of The Friars Club contacted us once again. This time, he needed a set of graphics for the statue’s unveiling ceremony, along with two permanent plaques. One would be a tribute to David Bowie himself, while the other would credit the statue’s sculptor.

What we did to help

We began with an on-site meeting to review the location and better understand the vision. During this visit, we took precise measurements and provided expert advice on suitable materials that would withstand outdoor conditions.

For the plaques, we chose thick acrylic and printed the designs in reverse to protect the text and imagery from weathering. Using aluminium barrel fixings, we securely installed both plaques to meet a very tight deadline.

We’re thrilled with the final result. The plaques complement the statue beautifully, adding a polished and professional finish to the public display.

Even more exciting, the statue and our plaques have been featured worldwide in news coverage. We’re incredibly proud to have been part of this historic moment—and even more honoured to be mentioned on the plaque itself. Our MD, Andy Borrow, received a special personal thanks for his role in supporting the project.

Blimey Daniela, you’re a star! Thanks so much for all the help you have given us on this project. I really appreciate you helping us out with these plaques. The price is extremely helpful. Love peace and music.

Picture perfect panels for the ‘music club that rocked the world’!

The Ramones

On 1 March 2014, Bucks County Council launched a brand-new exhibition to celebrate the legendary Friars Club, based in Aylesbury.

Founded in 1969, the Friars Club earned global recognition as “the music club that rocked the world.” It played a crucial role in launching the early careers of artists such as David Bowie, Genesis, Mott the Hoople, Cockney Rebel, The Clash, and many others.

We were absolutely delighted to contribute to this iconic event. It was especially meaningful for our MD, Andy Borrow, who spent many nights at the Friars and saw more than 50 bands perform there.

The Brief

Our role was to design and produce photographic display panels featuring original images of artists taken at the Friars. These panels would be showcased throughout the exhibition.

What we did to help

We worked closely with Bucks County Museum and The Friars Club team from the outset. During an initial site visit, we met with our contacts to discuss project requirements and assess the available space. At this stage, we offered expert advice on how to present the visuals, as well as recommendations on materials that would ensure quality and durability.

However, we faced some challenges with the supplied images. Since we were working with original photographs, many were worn or too small to enlarge without compromising image quality. Therefore, we had to get creative.

In partnership with Lee Upton from Amberflare, we used advanced image-editing techniques to restore and upscale the photos. This included cloning to mask creases, interpolation to increase resolution (DPI), and colour manipulation through greyscale, mid-tones, and highlights. Additionally, we used Raster Image Processing software to ensure the scans could be printed at large sizes without losing clarity.

To produce the final prints, we chose Foamex—a lightweight yet rigid material known for its strength and clean finish. Altogether, we created more than 30 custom panels in varying sizes. Moreover, we supplied 25 smaller promotional signs free of charge to help raise awareness of the event.

We had the pleasure of attending the launch evening, where we were personally thanked for our support and craftsmanship. The exhibition turned out to be a tremendous success. More importantly, it was an honour to help bring such a powerful and nostalgic piece of local music history back to life.

A huge thank you for Impact Signs, who have done such a fabulous job with all of the signs. They look stunning. Thank you.

New sign(ings) at Aylesbury RFC

Aylesbury RFU

Aylesbury RFC

We have been lucky enough to work with Aylesbury Rugby Football Club (ARFC) since 2006. We are also one of their key sponsors.

The Brief

In 2016 Aylesbury RFC tasked us with creating and installing new interior and exterior signs for their recently refurbished club house. They also asked us to update the sponsors signs along the pitch perimeter.

What we did to help

In partnership with local company ''Mediaport'' We met with the General Manager to discuss the project and his requirements. As the club had undergone a refurb, the signs - from the moment guests enter the club gates, come into the club house and step onto the pitch - needed to complement its new look.

We carried out a site survey - taking measurements and photographs of the venue and the pitch.

We submitted product samples that we knew would work best for this project and would be long lasting.

We designed and manufactured the signs inhouse; and our team also installed them.

The external pitch perimeter boards were manufactured using Foamex. This is a versatile and cost-effective product, which is also strong, rigid, durable and water repellent.

As supporters and sponsors of Aylesbury RFC, they are always a great client to work for. We are extremely proud of the outcome. We feel that the signs have added to the enhanced look of the refurbed site and improved the pitch side dramatically.

Andy, thanks for sorting these signs out in time for our match at the weekend. They look great.

Creating a Great Glass Elevator that is out of this world!

Roald Dahl Logo

The Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery

We had the pleasure of working with The Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery in Aylesbury in February 2017.

We are very proud to have been assisting the Museum since 2007, with the creation and installation of graphics on a variety of exhibitions.

The Brief

This time, our brief was imaginative and fun: transform the lift into the Great Glass Elevator from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

We had to remove the old sweet-themed images and replace them with brand-new space graphics—both inside and out.

What We Did to Help

We began by meeting the client to review the brief and share our ideas. During the discussion, we explored product choices and creative options. At the same time, we conducted key site surveys to assess structure and installation needs.

We also recorded accurate measurements and took several photos. These helped us prepare the design and quotation.

Our main aim was to make the experience feel real. We wanted every customer to step into the lift and feel like part of the story—as if they were about to rocket "up and out" through the roof!

To bring this idea to life, we used vinyl panels and solvent inks. These gave us just the right range of translucency.

However, achieving perfect transparency required testing. So, we applied sample prints to the glass and checked how they looked in different lighting. We tested during daylight, at night, and with lights both on and off.

We also checked visibility from inside and outside. While this took time, it was crucial for success.

Next, we worked closely with Redman Partnership LLP, the agency that created the final design. We overlaid their visuals onto the photos we’d taken earlier. This let everyone see how the finished lift would look before production began.

This step helped the client visualise fonts, placements, and overall feel. Once they approved the "splendiferous" design, we moved on to installation.

A Project to Remember

This was an exciting and challenging project. We’re proud of the result and believe it was a great success.

The lift is now a standout feature that delights visitors at the Bucks County Museum and the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre.

Have you taken a ride in the Great Glass Elevator? We’d love to hear what you think!

Many thanks for fitting the final vinyl panel. It all looks great now and the vinyls have transformed the whole look of the gallery.

‘Pulling together’ our design expertise for local Curtain business

Impact Signs Curtains And Linens

We started working with Curtains and Linens Ltd in May 2018 following their move to a larger site in Kites Park, Princes Risborough.

The Brief

Curtains and Linens Ltd had just moved to a new location. They wanted a bold and stylish sign to enhance the front of their modern premises.

What We Did

We visited the new site and spoke with the client to understand his goals. During the visit, we also conducted a detailed survey and captured building photos.

These images allowed us to overlay different logo designs on the building. As a result, the client could easily visualise how each design would appear. This also made it easier to choose suitable fonts, sizes, and placements before printing.

Our in-house designer created several logo options. We applied these designs to the photographs. This helped the client select the one he liked most with full confidence.

We then discussed product styles and materials in detail. After choosing the right combination, the client approved the design. From there, we moved straight to manufacturing.

While the final sign was being produced, we installed a temporary banner. This gave the business instant visibility from the street.

To create the premium finish they wanted, we used 10mm thick stainless-steel letters and a custom logo. We coated both in the colours selected by the client for a durable and sharp look.

Although the client felt uncertain at first, our honest advice and 25 years of experience helped him decide. Our mock-ups and material samples also gave him extra clarity.

The result was exactly what the client needed—a clean, modern sign that makes a strong impression.

Wished to say thank you for the new signs you installed a couple of weeks ago, which look fantastic! Also the two installers worked really hard through the extreme heat that day and did a very professional job and were very courteous and helpful.

Building positive communities with quality signs

Watford Community Housing Logo

Watford Community Housing

We have worked with Watford Community Housing for around ten years on key projects; focusing on sign design, creation and installation across its communities.

Watford Community Housing is a housing association that owns and manages more than 5,000 homes across South-West Hertfordshire.

The Brief

After a rebrand, Watford Community Housing wanted to showcase their fresh new identity in local communities. They had two clear goals:

  • Replace all old signage with a more premium, high-quality design
  • Fix issues like vandalism and fading from previously installed signs

What We Did to Help

To begin with, we started by meeting the client on-site. This helped us understand the project and discuss expectations clearly.

Since the work spanned several locations, we conducted surveys at each one. Consequently, this step ensured we recommended the right sign types—such as post-mounted signs, building names, and wayfinders. Every site needed a tailored solution.

In addition, we held boardroom discussions to tackle challenges like vandalism and fading. Drawing from our experience, we provided samples of products known to last.

Moreover, throughout the process, we stayed in touch with the client. This made it easy to track progress and handle any changes quickly.

We were mindful of residents too. Therefore, we kept noise levels low and respected their privacy while working.

To address this, we created anti-vandal signs for every neighbourhood. These signs hold up well and stay fresh for years. Furthermore, each one also came with a 10-year guarantee, offering extra peace of mind.

You can explore more about these long-lasting signs here.

This was a big project, yet it was worth it. We’re proud of the final result. Above all, residents shared great feedback. The signs truly improved the neighbourhoods and boosted the image of Watford’s brand.

We’ve had lots of positive feedback from tenants and members of the public. Great improvement!

Installing core values into the business

BYRNES DENTAL LABORATORY 300x112

Byrnes Dental Laboratory

We have worked a number of times with Byrnes Dental Laboratory on a variety of projects. It’s great when a client comes back to you again and again, particularly for items needed in a short time frame. We’re glad we were able to help on this occasion.

The Brief

Byrnes Dental Laboratory, based in Wheatley, Oxford, contacted us as they wanted the company’s core values installed on the walls of the lab. We only had a few days to complete this job as they were required for an in-house photo shoot.

What we did to help

Due to the quick turnaround we discussed all requirements and ideas over the phone. Once agreed, we created individually cut vinyl wall graphics for each core value, from the design supplied by Byrnes.

We provided a scaled layout and superimposed the graphics onto images of the various walls, to give the client an idea of the final look, size and position of graphics.

The installation was straightforward, and the graphics looked incredibly smart, making a real impact.

Vinyl graphics are durable, fade resistant and wipe cleanable. From bright bold designs to more subtle images, printed wallpaper and die cut vinyl graphics can add character and interest to any interior.

We were delighted to be able to turn this project around in just a few days.

The team at Impact Sign Solutions Ltd have been great to work with – from the moment I placed my enquiry, walking me through the process and measuring up, to the fitting day and after sales care. The service is prompt, friendly, and helpful.

Furthermore, I had a tight timeline to meet, and Daniela and Mark worked with me to help me achieve that deadline. The signage looks fantastic and I feel I have been delivered excellent value for money.

Very happy customer and I would highly recommend this team and company.

Quick turnaround for Grand re-opening

Impact Signs Solutions Grand Junction Arms3

Grand Junction Arms

Our first project with The Grand Junction Arms in Bulbourne, near Tring, needed a quick turnaround.

The Brief

The new owner of this canal side pub and restaurant got in touch with us regarding a re-brand.

He wanted to update the outside of the pub, focusing primarily on being seen by and enticing in passing traffic. He wanted a design  that was clean and eye catching, and signs that complemented this new look.

We had only 2 weeks to install the news signs in time for the grand re-opening.

What we did to help

We met the owner to discuss all areas of the project and timescales.

As this had a short turnaround, we designed and manufactured the signs in-house. We also carried out a site survey to take exact measurements, and determine the best materials for the project. To keep costs down we re-used and revamped existing signs where  possible.

To ensure a clean and fresh-looking logo on the outside wall, we advised using a wall wrap vinyl as opposed to hand painting, as it is a more economical option.

The logos on the exterior of the building are die cut vinyl graphics  created by our in-house designer.

Other signs include a main fascia, wall mounted printed fascia, information poster mount and projection swing.

This was a challenging task to meet the timescale. But we did it!

It was great to work in such a lovely building.

Here are the BEFORE photographs...

Creating branding with impact for a new extension

Impact Sign Solutions St Louis Image

St Louis Catholic Primary School

This was our first brief from St Louis Catholic primary School.

Following the excellent result of this project, we have continued to work with the school creating commemorative plaques and signs as and when required.

The Brief

St Louis Catholic Primary School in Aylesbury contacted us after finishing a new extension.

They needed new signs for this area. The branding had to match the look and feel of the rest of the school.

The signs included fascia with individual letters and a logo, post-mounted signs, car park signs, wayfinding signs, interior plaques, and window graphics. In short, everything needed to create a cohesive visual identity.

Since the work had to be done during the summer holiday, we had just six weeks to complete it.

What We Did to Help

We began with a site meeting to understand the project clearly. We discussed the school’s needs, suggested materials, and explored design ideas.

Our team carried out all the needed checks. These included structure surveys, safety assessments, and installation planning. We also measured each area carefully and took photos to support the design and quotation stages.

Because the project included several elements, we visited the site often. We also held regular check-ins with the client to keep everything on track.

We used a mix of products for this job. For external signs, we cut letters and the logo from aluminium. We coated them in a 10-year anti-vandal resin. Rear locators were used to keep all fixings hidden and give a clean finish.

During the project, the client shared a cheaper quote from another provider. The suggested materials, however, didn’t match our quality standards. We explained why our recommendation would last longer and look better.

Our job is to guide clients with honest, expert advice. In this case, the result spoke for itself. The school loved the finished look.

They felt confident knowing the signage would stay sharp and durable for years.

We are delighted with the work. Thank you for your hard work.

Bespoke drywipe boards for Wipac

Wipac Image

Wipac Technology Ltd

We started working with Wipac Technology Ltd, based in Buckingham, in 2014.

Over the years we have been involved in creating a range of bespoke items for various projects, and though sometimes different to what we are used to, we were able to deliver as promised and at our usual high standards.

The Brief

Wipac contacted us as they required personalised drywipe boards.

What we did to help

As always, before we start manufacturing items, we provide the client with a sample of the product with their logo on to ensure that it looks good and the corporate colours are correct.

Once approved, we printed the bespoke drywipe boards, and then laminated the prints with a bespoke drywipe laminate, so that when wiping clean, the printed graphics are not affected or stained.

Daniela and the team at Impact have gone out of their way to ensure my custom projects are always delivered on time and to a very high standard. Regardless of how unusual the request, how large the project, or how bespoke the requirements are, they always deliver outstanding results. New year, new look!

The Brief

Christopher Pallet, a well-established estate agent, kicked off the New Year with a fresh new look—thanks in part to Impact Signs.

What we did to help

To support their vision, we designed, produced, and installed a full set of exterior signage for estate agents, tailored to Christopher Pallet’s brand.

Specifically, our work included:

  • Fascia signs to create a bold, visible storefront
  • Swing signs for added visibility from the pavement
  • Window graphics to promote services and reinforce branding
  • Additional external sign elements that ensured consistency across both sites

From start to finish, we worked closely with their team to ensure the signage matched their updated visual identity. Thanks to durable materials and clean installation, the new signs will continue to make an impression for years to come.

The result? A polished, professional look that stands out on the high street. Both the Aylesbury and Wendover offices now benefit from cohesive, high-impact estate agency signage that aligns with the refreshed brand image.

Oh wow, that looks absolutely amazing! Great job Impact signs! Exactly as I envisaged it!

Skilled installation for Aylesbury Automation

Aylesbury Automation Logo

Aylesbury Automation

Aylesbury Automation is the leading automation company in the UK, established in 1961. We have been lucky enough to work with them for over a decade, assisting on a variety of projects.

The Brief

In 2017 we were asked to refresh their fascia signage ensuring it stayed consistent with their corporate branding.

This involved removing their existing tired fascia signs, refurbishing two of these and installing a brand-new option.

What we did to help

We had a site visit to meet the client and discuss in detail what is required. We will always give our expert opinion on what steps we believe need to be taken to get the desired, and best, outcome.

We carry out various surveys, including structural and installation, and we take a range of measurements. We also take photographs of the area we will be working on so that we can superimpose artwork designs onto the photograph, so the client can get an idea of what the final product will look like.

For this project we advised that using individual lettering would enhance the building’s appearance. We offered a range of sample material options and colour swatches and took them through all possibilities.

When the final decision was made, we superimposed the finished artwork, completed by our in-house designer, onto the photograph of the front of the building. Aylesbury Automation went ahead with this classic look and chose the flat cut acrylic lettering in superior high gloss finish.

The individual letters were expertly installed by our Production Manager, Mark. All individual lettering is attached using rear fixings, which are hidden from view. There are no screws to distract from the design, smooth sheen and rich colour. Due to the cladding on the outside of the building, the letters had to fit into its high and low points, to ensure all letters remain flat and levelled. This is a certainly a skilled craft!

We are very pleased with the result. It was a truly satisfying job from our point of view. Taking away a tired, dated and disjointed sign and replacing it with a clean, eye catching and professional one; enabled us to dramatically improve the whole look and feel of the building.

We are all very happy with the new signs. Thank you to everyone at Impact, a great job done.

Gold-seal of approval

Goldseal Conservatories Logo

Gold-seal of approval

We have worked with Goldseal Conservatories since 2009, so it was great to work with them on this project and be with them on the next chapter of their business journey.

The Brief

Goldseal Conservatories Ltd contacted us as they were moving premises and needed new signage for their showroom and new company van graphics.

What we did to help

We met the client onsite at the new premises to go through their requirements and discuss our ideas and the best products for the project.

Once the proposal was approved, we created various designs for the signs using their corporate colours of black and mirror finish gold.

We superimposed each design onto a photograph of the showroom, taken at the onsite meeting. This allowed the client to get an idea of how each sign would look when it was installed. It also made the selection process easier.

We also provided samples to show the quality of each product we recommended.

We wrapped the vans over the weekends and part into the weekday, so they weren't off the road for too long.

It was great to be part of this project and to work alongside Goldseal again.

The signs give the showroom that little bit extra to make it welcoming for when customers visit. Plus, their vans look extremely prestigious and professional, and are a great form of mobile advertising!

Excellent service. Speedy efficient and 1st class.

Keeping customers safe

Kingspan

Kingspan Water & Energy Ltd

We have worked with Kingspan Water & Energy Ltd since 2004. Naturally, we were more than happy to support one of our longest-standing customers during such a challenging time.

We also knew how critical it was to complete this project quickly, efficiently, and professionally.

The Brief

Kingspan contacted us because they needed a range of COVID-19 signage from our online shop. These signs were essential to inform clients, staff, and delivery drivers about updated procedures at their site.

What We Did to Help

Right away, we visited the client onsite to discuss the project. We understood the urgency, so we moved fast.

We designed entirely new information signs. At the same time, we created updated messaging to overlay on existing signage. We printed these on grey-back self-adhesive vinyl to prevent any previous graphics from showing through.

Without delay, we began the production process. We provided superimposed images to show how the final artwork would appear. This allowed the client to visualise the results before installation.

From the initial quotation to design, manufacturing, and final installation, the entire process took just two working days.

We feel proud to have supported Kingspan with this project. Because we acted quickly, we helped implement key safety measures within days—exactly when they were needed most.

Collateral that’s a cut above the rest!

Oak Garden Machinery Logo

Oak Garden Machinery

We began working with Oak Garden Machinery, based in Thame, in 2016. Since then, we’ve created and produced a wide range of items, mostly for exhibitions.

We regularly work under tight deadlines and produce high volumes of merchandise for events and exhibitions. Therefore, we understand the pressure and pace required.

The Brief

Oak Garden Machinery contacted us because they were preparing for an exhibition. They needed eye-catching exhibition graphics and promotional items to make a strong impression.

What We Did to Help

First, we met with the customer to understand their complete exhibition wish list. After that, we designed and produced a wide variety of collateral, including:

  • Exhibition banners – using material that’s easy to roll, store, and transport, yet still looks great at the venue;
  • Embroidered clothing;
  • Printed mugs;
  • Coasters; and
  • Notepads.

In addition, we powder-coated barrels in the company’s corporate colours and added die-cut lettering. This extra touch looked excellent and really helped the display stand out.

We also produced samples of each item before final production. This step ensured the logo’s colours matched perfectly across all pieces. Indeed, colour consistency is essential for professional-looking collateral.

Altogether, this was a fantastic project to take part in. It involved many different elements, all of which needed to come together on time. We especially enjoyed designing the final look of the barrel, which added a bold visual to the setup.

Overall, we’re really pleased with the result.

Amazing! They are looking good!

Lifting moral with colourful vinyl

Watford Community Housing Logo

Watford Community Housing

We have collaborated with Watford Community Housing for around ten years on key projects. Specifically, we’ve focused on designing, creating, and installing signage across its communities.

Watford Community Housing, a housing association in South-West Hertfordshire, owns and manages more than 5,000 homes.

The Brief

Recently, Watford Community Housing reached out to us with a new idea. They wanted to bring vibrancy and life to the lifts at their head office. To achieve this, they planned to incorporate welcoming images of their residents along with their rebranded logo.

What We Did to Help

To begin with, we met the client on site to discuss the project in detail. During the visit, we also inspected and measured the available space.

After considering various possibilities, we recommended self-adhesive vinyl graphics. In fact, this material is ideal for high-traffic areas such as lift doors.

Next, we provided a small sample layout for approval. This step ensured that the client felt confident about the colours and finish.

Once approved, we moved forward with production. We digitally printed the graphics and then expertly installed them on the lift doors. Since the doors needed to remain shut during installation, we completed the work out of hours.

Moreover, the fresh and bright images provided by the client truly had a visual impact. As a result, the new lift doors became eye-catching and welcoming.

Self-adhesive vinyl delivers a great print finish. Additionally, it’s both durable and versatile, making it suitable for a wide range of surfaces. Even better, it’s highly cost-effective.

Overall, we truly enjoy projects like this. Initially, we start with a dull, blank canvas. However, we then transform it into something bright and engaging. Furthermore, because the graphics featured Watford Community Housing’s residents, the project felt especially personal. We feel proud of the outcome.

Watford Community Housing were very pleased with the end result, and the professionalism of Impact who agreed to come to our offices out-of-hours in order to fit the vinyls, thereby minimising disruption to staff.

First impressions to put a smile on your face

Temple Square Dental

Temple Square Dental

We’re delighted to have been able to work with Temple Square Dental for the first time on such an important project.

Getting this part of your corporate branding right is key as it gives a powerful first impression to customers. We are incredibly pleased with the result.

The Brief

Temple Square Dental, based in central Aylesbury, asked us to refresh their ‘old and tired’ branding. They also wanted it to match their new corporate look more consistently.

What We Did to Help

We started with a site visit. This helped us understand the scope and explore ideas together. It also allowed us to suggest products that would bring the best results.

After getting the green light, we created and installed a new directory sign. We also added fresh window graphics, internal acrylic plaques, and an illuminated reception logo.

To help the logo shine, we explained different lighting options. We guided them toward a solution that offered strong visibility. Additionally, we gave them product samples to ensure accuracy in colour and material.

We planned the installation with care. As a result, there was minimal disruption to patients—a top priority for this client.

This project was exciting from start to finish. The final signage made the newly decorated surgery feel modern and welcoming.

Andy and Daniela really looked after us. We had quite high demands and not a clue as to what we needed. They both took the time to talk us through our options and guide us with their experience.

When it came time to install the rest of the Impact team were professional and friendly at all times.

Absolutely brilliant team and would highly recommend them.

A tea room with a new view

Hartwell Nurseries

Hartwell Nurseries

If you've visited the Tea Room at Hartwell Nurseries in Stone, you’ll know it’s a charming spot, known for its delicious fresh food and welcoming atmosphere—a perfect place to catch up with friends.

When the COVID-19 pandemic threatened to disrupt this warm, community-focused hub, Hartwell took proactive steps to maintain both safety and the inviting feel of their space. That’s where we came in.

The Brief

The Tea Room needed a transparent barrier installed at the service counter to protect staff, customers, and food items—without compromising the open, friendly ambiance of the venue.

What we did to help

To kick things off, we conducted a site visit to understand the client’s vision and objectives. During this visit, we offered tailored advice on suitable products, took reference photos, and measured the area for precision.

We recommended a framed acrylic screen that could be fixed directly to the countertop. This option not only met the hygiene requirements but also complemented the clean, welcoming design of the Tea Room. It was essential that the new addition felt like a natural part of the environment, not an intrusive element.

To support the decision-making process, we created a series of 3D drawings, which we superimposed onto the site photos. This visual approach gave the client a realistic preview of the final installation and made the approval process much smoother.

The custom screen measured approximately 5 metres in length and 80cm in height, and we manufactured it entirely in-house. Thanks to our extensive stock and streamlined production process, we were able to turn this around quickly—meeting a tight deadline without compromising on quality.

The result was a sleek, hygienic barrier that blended seamlessly into the Tea Room’s aesthetic, offering safety and peace of mind to staff and guests alike. We’re proud to have helped Hartwell Nurseries continue serving their community—safely and stylishly.

The customer is incredibly happy with the installation. He says that it looks as though the screen has always been there!

It’s a wrap!

Impact Sign Solutions Chambers Engineering Logo

Chambers Engineering Ltd

Having completed several projects for Chambers Engineering in the past, we felt delighted when they got in touch again. This time, they asked us to wrap a vehicle for one of their customers. Clearly, it shows the trust they place in our service.

Moreover, it’s always great to work on a project that adds value to another local company’s offering.

The Brief

Chambers Engineering approached us because they needed a customer's vehicle wrapped. Specifically, they wanted to transform a plain white lorry cab into a bold, striking blue.

What We Did to Help

To begin, we inspected the vehicle carefully. We examined the contours and overall surface area to ensure we chose the right vinyl for a perfect finish. For this project, we used 3M vehicle wrap vinyl, known for its premium quality.

Next, we prepared and applied the company’s branding. The Quereus logos were sign-written separately and applied to the cab sides, wind defender, and rear doors. In addition, we produced several samples beforehand to match the corporate colours precisely. This step matters a great deal because accurate branding is vital to preserving the company’s visual identity.

For a clean, expert finish, we carried out the wrap in a dust-free environment. Although the job required precision, we completed it successfully at Chambers Engineering’s site.

The 3M vinyl worked exceptionally well. It moulded seamlessly to the cab’s contours and adhered perfectly, even on the shaped wind defender. As a result, the wrap looked like a second skin over the vehicle’s surface.

Furthermore, this product offers versatility and protection. It adds a durable layer over the paintwork and can be removed cleanly without causing any damage. Even better, it comes with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty, offering long-term peace of mind.

Everybody was over the moon with the job and your excellent service.

Customers go crackers for new fascia sign!

Impact Signs Double Eight Back Lit Tray Panel Sign

Double Eight Chinese Takeaway

This was our first job with Double Eight Chinese Take-away in Aylesbury. But it certainly wasn’t the first time we visited! (They do great food!)

The Brief

The shop has been based on Parton Road, Aylesbury, for over 15 years. The owner wanted to refresh the shop’s external appearance. He also decided to upgrade the old fluorescent tube fascia to a modern illuminated sign.

What We Did to Help

We met the owner on-site to understand his vision clearly. Then, we carried out a full site survey. This included taking accurate measurements and photos so we could later superimpose various sign designs.

After the initial visit, we explored several product options with the customer. We made sure the design matched both his expectations and the nature of his business. Since it’s a Chinese takeaway, colour and style mattered greatly.

Next, our in-house designer created multiple options. We provided a wide selection of colours and layouts to choose from. We also reviewed colour swatches and physical samples with the owner. In fact, he even dropped by our unit on Rabans Close to finalise the details.

During installation, we discovered structural damage behind the old sign. The wooden support had become rotten over time. It needed urgent repair and weatherproofing. We handled that work before fitting the new sign.

To finish the job, we used a durable aluminium fascia. Not only does it give a smart and high-end look, but it’s also more efficient thanks to LED lighting.

We're proud of how we transformed the shop’s tired exterior into a sharp and inviting one. Customers noticed the change right away—and their feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

Take a look at the before, during, and after photos. You’ll definitely see the difference!

Nick was really happy with his new sign. He has received many positive comments from his customers.

No longer getting lost at Woodrow High!

Woodrow High House Logo

Woodrow High House

Woodrow High House is on a mission to improve the lives of young people from all backgrounds and abilities, encouraging them to become the best they can be. They believe that young people benefit from opportunities outside of school—whether it’s having fun with friends, learning new skills, or making a positive impact in their communities.

We were proud to support them with a project that made a real difference.

The Brief

Evie from Woodrow High House in Amersham approached us with a challenge. Pupils, staff, and visitors were struggling to find their way around the school. What they needed was effective wayfinding signage, and we were more than happy to help.

What we did to help

To begin, our Managing Director Andy visited the school to assess the internal areas in need of signage. During the visit, he also presented a range of material samples we would recommend for the project. Additionally, the school was keen to update their entrance sign to make it more welcoming, vibrant, and visually engaging. They also required a car park sign to simplify navigation for visitors.

After careful consideration, the decision was made to use acrylic plaques for the internal signs. These plaques were laser cut and printed in-house, using Woodrow’s corporate colours to ensure a sleek, modern appearance. By printing on the reverse side, we ensured the design would remain intact—resistant to cleaning and tampering.

Once production was complete, our skilled fitting team visited the site to install all the plaques. The result was a complete signage refresh that improved wayfinding, reinforced the school’s identity, and enhanced the experience for everyone on site.

New signs for a new logo

Freemantle Trust Logo

Fremantle Trust

We have worked with the Fremantle Trust for many years, providing a range of sign solutions for this Aylesbury based registered charity and not for profit organisation.

The Brief

Phil from Fremantle Trust contacted us as they had just refreshed their logo and were looking for replacement signs for various care homes within their Trust.

We were only too happy to help!

What we did to help

We went along to the various locations around the Bucks area to measure the existing signs. All the signs were made in-house, printed on our large format flatbed printer. The UV durability makes it perfect for outdoor use! We also had to make sure all the new signs were within their corporate guidelines.

Our Installation Manager Mark went along to all the sites to fit the post and wall mounted signs for them.

Thanks Daniela, you, you have saved my life.

Putting their Trust in us

Trust logo

Vale of Aylesbury Housing

We have worked with Vale of Aylesbury Housing (The Trust) for many years on a variety of projects. These include work at both their head office and sheltered housing schemes.

Naturally, we felt very pleased when they contacted us for support in improving their COVID-19 health and safety measures. Their continued trust highlights the value they place on our knowledge and expertise.

The Brief

The Trust wanted to improve safety within their reception area and customer meeting rooms. Specifically, they required larger protective screens that could wrap around the reception desk and serve as barriers in meeting rooms.

What We Did to Help

To get started, we carried out a site visit. During this visit, we gathered project details, offered expert product advice, took reference photographs, and measured all relevant spaces.

Due to the unique shape of the reception desk and the existing glass panelling, we needed a custom solution. Therefore, we designed a bespoke screen that could attach safely to the glass while maintaining a welcoming and professional appearance. Our goal was to ensure the upgrade complemented—and even enhanced—the Trust’s brand.

Additionally, the three customer meeting rooms needed custom acrylic panels. We designed these to fit snugly over the desks and between the walls, ensuring both functionality and a clean look.

For approval, we created detailed 3D drawings. We also superimposed these onto the site photos to help the client visualise the finished product. Once they approved the designs, we moved forward with the installation.

Throughout the process, we worked closely with the Trust’s Facilities Co-ordinator. By staying in constant communication, we kept the project moving efficiently and made sure every detail met their expectations.

Since the installation, the client has asked us to extend the height of the screens and brand the bottom panels. Because we used a modular system, making these adjustments will be simple.

Feedback from Senior Managers is that the love the look of the Reception Screen!

Never a poor reception at Mix96

Mix96 Logo

Mix96

We’ve worked with our local radio station, Mix96, since 2013. It’s always a pleasure to partner with such a dynamic local business.

They stay involved in a wide range of projects across Aylesbury. As a result, we often spot the products we’ve created for them—whether at events around the Vale or on the road in the Mix car!

The Brief

Mix96 contacted us because they wanted to refresh their main entrance. Additionally, they hoped to display their core values on an office wall, making them visible to the entire team.

What We Did to Help

We began with a site visit and met with the client to discuss the project in detail. After reviewing the space and their goals, we recommended a combination of wallpaper graphics and die-cut lettering.

Wallpaper graphics offer flexibility in both texture and finish, making them perfect for customizing almost any wall. Because they’re digitally printed in high resolution, they allow for striking, floor-to-ceiling visuals. For this project, that was ideal—we needed to cover an exceptionally large wall.

Even better, the material is durable, fade-resistant, and wipe-cleanable. It’s also extremely cost-effective, which made it a practical choice as well as an aesthetic one.

We then produced a variety of samples for both parts of the project. These samples showed the product quality and confirmed that the final colors looked exactly right.

Once the client approved the designs, we printed wallpaper and lettering. We then carried out the installation.

Now, the area feels vibrant and welcoming—just like Mix96 itself!

We especially enjoyed this project because it involved a dramatic transformation. Seeing the space evolve from dull and empty to bold and energising is one of the most rewarding parts of our work. Updating such a large area created a massive visual impact.

Always helpful, professional and accommodating

Celebrating a 20th birthday with a rebrand!

Alcom IT Logo

Celebrating a 20th birthday with a rebrand!

Alcom IT

We enjoyed working with Alcom IT on its big revamp as we were able to design and produce many different elements. This project also needed a quick turnaround - did we do it? Of course we did!

The Brief

Last year, Alcom IT turned 20. To celebrate the occasion, they underwent an exciting rebrand to better reflect the range and quality of their services, 20 years on.

We were brought in to assist with the revamp and were tasked with creating a range of items and merchandise.

We had under 8 weeks to complete the project in time for the big unveiling at the beginning of April 2019.

What we did to help

We worked closely and met regularly with Alcom IT to design, manufacture and install a variety of products including:

  • A new fascia sign for the front of the building. This sign consisted of an aluminium tray panel with individually cut Acrylic letters.
  • A complete van wrap. Here we wrapped a pure white van to make it Alcom IT orange. We also created hub cap graphics.
  • Embroidered clothing and personalised mugs, for the whole team.
  • Internal window graphics.
  • New pavement signs.

We provided colour swatches to ensure the new corporate orange colour remained consistent throughout each of the items manufacturing processes. It was imperative we got this right.

We produced the layouts for the various items, which included superimposing the logo/fascia onto images of where they would be printed/installed. This helped the client visualise the final look and feel of images, fonts, positioning etc prior to manufacture.

From the very first moment we started dealing with Impact Signs it was clear they are all very knowledgeable and passionate.

We usually supply our own artwork but have no clue about technical aspects of sign work so it was great to have Andy, Daniela and the rest of the team help advise us along the way on how to get the best from our designs into stunning reality. They really feel like a part of our team.

Thank you, Impact Signs – you’ve made our re-brand a breeze!
