Everything you need to know

Yes. Standard brass plaque sizes are available to buy online. Simply choose your requirements and proceed through our secure checkout.
We only use highly polished solid brass, with deep engraving and optional paint infill. Engraving can be infilled with paint in a range of colours to complement your design or branding.
Yes. We can reproduce corporate typefaces, logos, images and other artwork by engraving them onto solid brass plaques. There is a limit to what the engraving process can achieve, so the best thing to do is send us your design and we can advise what is possible. Sometimes it may be necessary to slightly alter the design.
Our brass plaques are made to order, so sizes are fully customisable. Whether you need a small nameplate or a large commemorative panel, we’ll manufacture to your exact dimensions. Standard sizes are also available if preferred.
Yes. Using our state of the art technology we can make any size or shape of plaque to suit your requirements, as well as reproduce corporate typestyles and logos.
Yes. We’ll send you a design proof for approval before production.
No. You can send us your design or artwork and we can advise what is possible. If you do not have finished artwork, we can discuss your requirements and prepare artwork for approval.
Yes. We can infill the engraving with paint. Available colours include black, white, red, blue, green, yellow, orange and violet.
Yes. This plaque is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Conditions may vary, but regular cleaning and polishing will help maintain the appearance of an outdoor plaque.
Yes. Brass naturally tarnishes over time. For light soiling or tarnishing, wipe with methylated spirits. For heavier tarnishing, polish with a proprietary cleaner such as Brasso.

Indoor plaques should generally be cleaned once a month and outdoor plaques should be cleaned and polished every week.

If you notice a build up of polish in the text or graphic, use a soft cloth. For small intricate text an old toothbrush is ideal, but brush gently.

We offer polished gold finish screw caps and satin silver finish screw caps which cover the screws.
Yes. Wooden plinths have a bevelled finish edge and are available in different shapes and sizes. Standard sizes suit A5, A4 and A3 plaques, and bespoke sizes can also be made.
Wooden plinth finishes include Dark Mahogany, Dark Oak, Golden Oak and Natural Oak.
Impact Signs normally supply your engraved plaque ready fitted to your wooden plinth complete with domed screw caps and instructions.
Most brass plaques are dispatched within 3–5 working days after proof approval.
