Foamex is perfect for projects with a limited budget and can be supplied in gloss or matt finish.

Foamex Fascia Boards

Foamex Fascia Boards are an excellent choice when you want a strong yet budget-friendly signage material. Made from durable PVC, Foamex looks like a solid plastic sheet but remains light and easy to handle. You can choose a smooth matt or glossy finish depending on your design needs. Because the material stays rigid and water-repellent, it performs well in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Foamex Fascia Material with Clean Printing and Flexible Design

Foamex Fascia provides a clean, smooth surface that supports high-quality printing. Colours stay bright, text remains sharp, and graphics appear clear from every angle. Since the material cuts easily, you can shape it into circles, letters, arrows, or custom panels. This flexibility helps you create unique and eye-catching displays that elevate your brand presence.

Businesses use Foamex Fascia for exhibition boards, retail displays, event signage, safety signs, and shopfront fascia signage. The material is available in multiple thicknesses, including the stronger 10mm option, which works well for free-standing signs or larger panels that need added support. This range of thicknesses allows you to adapt Foamex to simple posters, durable fascia panels, or long-term outdoor displays.

Foamex delivers long-lasting value because it stays stable, rigid, and weather-resistant. It does not warp under normal conditions and stays lightweight for easier installation. Its low cost also makes it perfect for temporary campaigns, product launches, seasonal sales, and general promotional use. Even with a modest budget, Foamex helps you create professional-looking signs that attract attention.

Our team at Impact Signs has extensive experience producing Foamex Fascia Boards for businesses in Aylesbury and neighbouring areas. We guide you through design, layout, material selection, and installation to ensure your signage delivers strong visibility and a clean, modern finish. With our support, your Foamex signage stays bright, durable, and effective throughout the year.

Frames

Foamex Fascia BoardsThe Frame offers a more prominent look to the sign, it is a noticeable finish and quality.

We have got two types of aluminium frames: Anodised and Powder Coated.

While Anodised aluminium is available in a smaller number of colours than powder coated, it preserves the natural texture of ‘brushed aluminium’ effect. Bothe types of finishes are very durable and weather resistant.

Maintenance

Care of your new fascia Sign

Congratulations, you have just bought ‘the best’. Impact Signs use ‘new generation’ materials for all of their fascia signs. Everything that we use is…

  • UV stable (fade resistant).
  • Waterproof.
  • Rot proof
  • Virtually maintenance free.
  • All you have to do is clean with soapy water and a sponge as required. That’s it!

If you wish to remove the sign writing (vinyl only) at any stage, this is relatively easy to do, just use the following guidelines:

  • Use heat! Vinyl can be removed easier when it is warm. A hair dryer is the best tool for the job. Caution! Do not use hot air guns, these may burn the fascia!
  • To remove the glue residue use white spirit. Let it soak in for approx 2 minutes first, glue should then be easy to use.
  • Do not use a knife to remove vinyl, a plastic knife is best, or ask us for a squeegee.

FAQs

Why does my business need a fascia?

This is the first sign/brand that your customers and potential customers see before they walk through your door.
Your audience will form an opinion of your business before they even step foot in the door, so you want them to get a positive opinion of you the moment they see your sign.
If you have a quality made sign that looks professional, your customers will know that they are going to get an excellent service or product from you. If your sign is falling apart or looks shabby, you might lose custom because customers have formed a bad opinion of your business.
Taking the time to make the right first impressions is vital.

Why should I invest in outdoor signs?

Outdoor signs can be seen by a vast number of people who are driving/walking by your workplace. Signs increase brand awareness, letting customers know you are there and what you have to offer.

I need a new fascia. Can you make a new one and replace the old one?

Yes. We can visit your premises to see what is required and advise on the best material and design. We can also dispose of your old sign.

Do you take the old signs away?

Yes. We will dispose of this safely and securely.

What materials are available?

We work with a wide range of material including Correx, Foamex, Perspex, Alupanel and Aluminium. All are of high quality and look professional, and each has their own benefit depending on what you are looking for.

I’d like individual lettering - can you do this?

Yes, we can! We can produce stylish individual lettering in your font and colours. We can create these in a variety of materials that are either flat cut or built up.

Can I have lights? Can you fit them, or do I need to get an electrician?

Yes. Adding lights to your fascia signs gets your business seen even at night-time! This is a great investment. Our lighting range includes trough downlighting and spot lighting.

We can install these for you, but you will need an electrician to do the final connection and supply you with a certificate.

How long will it take?

Depending on requirements, creating a basic fascia sign will take approximately 5-7 working days. We will always keep you updated on the progress.

What maintenance will it need?

This is very much dependent on the material. Please contact our skilled sales team for more details.

How long will it last?

This is all dependent on the material and what your sign is being used for.

For example, if you are looking for a temporary sign to last a few months, we would recommend using Correx. This will certainly do the job and more. If you are looking for a longer lasting sign, then we would advise using an alternative product that we know will still look professional in years to come.

Please contact our team to discuss your requirements.

I need a temporary sign while you make my new sign – can you help?

Yes! While your main sign is in production, we can produce a PVC banner or Correx sign for a small cost.

Can I install them myself?

This is totally your decision. We can either supply the sign for you to install or our skilled installers can fit it for you.

If you choose to install yourself, once we have handed the sign and fixings to you, we take no responsibility for what happens next!

What is the process for ordering a sign start to finish?

Here’s what happens when we produce a fascia sign for you…

Enquiry – let us know what you’d like. We can either discuss your requirements over the phone, at our trade counter, by email or in person on a site survey. Our skilled sales team can discuss all your requirements and recommend what would be best for your sign.

Design - Once the cost is agreed, you can either supply us with the artwork or our in-house designer can produce this for you.

Proof – if we have produced the design, we will ask you to check over the design and confirm its correct and you are happy to proceed before any work starts.

Manufacture – all our signage is produced in-house. Whilst in production we would keep you up to date with timescales etc.

Delivery/pick up/install – depending on your requirements, we will contact you to arrange collection of your sign, advise you the sign is being despatched or arrange the install at a convenient time for you.

We prefer artwork to be supplied as a high-resolution PDF with all fonts outlined and images embedded. CMYK colour mode is essential for accurate print results. Files should include a 3mm bleed and crop marks where possible. If you're unsure, just ask — we're happy to check your file before printing.
